9:16 Is a Post-Production Decision
Vertical delivery needs editorial judgment
A vertical frame asks real creative questions: which character stays visible, where the crop should move, when a split-screen helps, and which visual details can disappear without changing the scene. Those are finishing decisions, not facts about the story itself.
Saganode keeps the earlier work focused on narrative intent. The shot records what must be communicated and how the image should feel. Post-production can then reframe that master for Shorts, Reels, TikTok, or other vertical placements.
Protect the sequence plan
When aspect ratio is treated as a render target, one Sequence Plan can serve several audiences without becoming a list of platform exceptions. Creators can still make a native vertical version when the story calls for it—but it becomes an explicit creative choice, not the default constraint.
Keep the storywide intent connected. Choose the frame at delivery.
